Conversational AI is one of the most promising voice technologies industries are working on. It is a technology that enables seamless communication between computers and humans.

In this first session of our AAII technical Lecture Series (ATLS - 1), Dr. Debamalay Chakrabarty, currently working as Applied Scientist in the Amazon Alexa Machine learning team, was invited to enlighten us on Conversational AI. He also covered other topics related to the AI field, such as current trends in the AI industry and what basic skills one should have to enter an AI industry.

The outline of the talk was -

  • πƒπžπ›π¦πšπ₯π²πšβ€™s brief work journey (NIT to JHU, USA and Amazon Alexa)
  • About his PhD - β€œAuditory Scene Analysis”
  • Building a conversation AI agent
  • Basic skills one should have to enter an AI industry
