Abstract:
Supply Chain is like nature, it is all around us. - Dave Waters.
A well-optimized supply chain lies at the heart of a company’s success. A supply chain constitutes the entire journey to serve the customer right from the raw material sourcing and requires navigating a complex web of decisions, often entangled in the divergent objectives of different collaborating entities.
This talk will cover: - a concise introduction to the world of supply chains, - various decisions that come into play, and - a few real-world business scenarios.

Speaker’s bio
Jaimini has rich experience in the field of Supply Chain Analytics, Optimization and Data Science. He has previously worked for Royal Dutch Shell (Oil & Gas) and Target Corporation (Retail) in these domains. He is also a visiting faculty member of Data Science at IIT Madras.
